Originally from the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, I found my way to the bright lights of New York City where I have always felt I was meant to be. Although I’m based in the Big Apple, my thirst for adventure began in 2009 when I studied in London for a semester abroad. Like most people who study abroad, I was bitten by the travel bug…and boy did I get it bad! Luckily, I haven’t been able to find a cure and I’m totally okay with that!
Since my semester in the UK, I’ve traveled to 16 beautiful countries including places such as Norway, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Czech Republic.
Along the way I’ve realized that I have an appetite for unique treats and native cuisines everywhere I go. And if I’m being honest, my sweet tooth is my weakness. The one thing I always bring home with me when I travel is a piece of local decadent chocolate.
My favorite part about traveling is meeting new people and experiencing diverse cultures. Most of all, I love to inspire other like-minded wanderlusters to go out and conquer the world, just like I do.
Follow along with me on on my never ending adventures around the world. Let my experiences be your guide as I give you the most useful tips on eating, traveling and everything in between.
